Say you set 50 words, will that only count the first post? Or is all all the words posted in the thread?

It counts the words in an entire thread.

After spending a lot of hours researching about Panda, I am one of the believer that thin and unuseful pages should be noindex.

Installed it a few days ago and still monitoring the situation.

Glad you agree and find this useful.

I'm been playing with it a while and I've nearly got my Pandalized size back to normal but I am running the setting at 350 words.

Would love to hear of any other sites whom installed this and can share the results. My analytics are very good so not sure if this would help very much. Bounce Rate is only .84% with over 21 minutes per visit.

That is a very low bounce rate with visitors spending a lot of time on your website.
