Nevermind, it works awesome. Great mod.

I'm looking at modifying it though. The title of the private message or email should contain the thread title! So, it should read something like, "UserXXX has replied to your post in thread XXX"

bigandy 01-09-2012 02:58 PM

why not just set "private message" as default value and amend the code as:

Quote:

if value <> email & no
then
pm
end-if

if value = email
then
email
end-if
i think most of users are happy with these pms, no need to ask them to set it one by one.

So... there's no Admin CP section where we can define what the default for new users (per User Group) should be?

Quote:

if value <> email & no
then
pm
end-if

if value = email
then
email
end-if
Where should this code be entered, bigandy?
And how would such a change affect users with no PB abilities?

Hi,

I installed this modification on 4.1.8. It is not working at all. I do not receive any PM when my quote is posed.

Also under the User CP : the Quote Notification by default had been set to "No". I changed it to "PM" but still it doesn't work.

How can I make the quote notification "Private Message" by default for all users?

Thanks

Amogh
