So if I have honeypot https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233388 installed, I should UNINSTALL this? Not use them together?

I get this idea from this above:

No, I'm sorry I was not explaining myself well. I use the Project Honeypot addon (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233388) but I disable all the plugins that come bundled with it except the Project Honeypot addon.

I know that sounds confusing but that other product comes with several plugins. One of them slows down my site considerably and the other doesn't allow me to create articles. The Project Honeypot addon (which is a very simple implementation) works very well and when you get you own http:bl key from project honeypot you can see how it is detecting blacklisted ip's that try to get to your site.

This happen on 4.1.1

Disabling this modification seems to have resolved it, but of course that means I'm not using it.

Sorry I can't help you more than that. My "Not Supported" notice on this gives you the disclaimer that I have it working for me and can offer a bit of help now and again but I can't promise it will work given the variety of ways people have their boards configured or install things. This was my first "product" addon and I built it by copying the xml format of other products. That xml format may be specific to 4.x fora.

Its option number 2, I am afraid.

This addon is very important and I really hope that someone will provide BB integration for vb 3. This will allow me to offload a substantial amount of server strain. It could postpone the need to buy new servers.
