Like I said in my previous post.....

The LOGIN and REGISTER button is GONE so therefore, you CANNOT login at all, it all appears like I wanted to, but what happened to the login button??

Well, then you fAcked something up. Revert your header template and perform the edits again. If your Style has a parent, you will have to revert it on there as well.

i followed the 'alternate' instruction and had the same issue. the button is not there, and even clicking enter will not submit the login.
its a shame because i like the 'remember me' text as well. i will look into it!

Finaly I found the way to change this! Sorry but I was working with my Dreamwaever and didn't realize that vbulletin has its own window to chang php codes etc.....:o.

The changes work fine on my forum site but what do I have to do to have the same also on the CMS entry site? See it here: http://www.mymarketingforum.ch/forum/content.php

I dont have the CMS version so I dont know what template to edit, but if you can find the template the edit should be almost exactly the same.

This mod update to the 4.0.1 Version why the header change same codes.....

LifesGreatestGift 01-14-2010 08:08 PM

Those of you who have upgraded to 4.0.1, all you have to do is revert the header template and perform the edits again. For some reason when the templates were merged with the new code it messed up the links when logged in.

That's all I did. I hated it as I had a few other manual edits to make as well.
