I have installed and tested it on vB Versions 4.1.3 & vB version 4.1.5
Worked just as it should, can download the Thread no problem.

Installed the php file into my root and then the xml file
Did the Template edits in the ShowThread template and all good.

All instructions on how to install and edit the template are in the zip folder when you download this Mod, read them.

In hack installations step 2, you put download thread link into showthread template. So considering you are putting it into the correct style set, there is no way it can't show up unless anyother hack etc. are interfering. I don't know what you mean by "template modification system" but it sounds like a culprit so try to disable it and see if it will fix the problem.

TMS works fine, you just need to made template modification as it is described in instructions, with or without TMS, it will work.

Before I made manually template modification, now I use TMS, but I still made template modification manually, but now just within TMS.

The hack works fine with the latest vb version. You either apply the template modification to a wrong (unused) style so can't see the link or your other pluggin is clashing with it. There is no problem with this hack.

Yes probably other pluggin is clashing
