How does this deal with the ads I have on my pages in my normal style. I want to still serve my ads into mobile browsers ... is this do-able?
|
That'd depend on how you do your ads. It does contain the standard vbulletin ad template hooks.

thanks it works fine with the options addon

anything i have to change in v 3.8.5?
|
There are no changes required in this for 3.8.5

Loving the style but I have 2 issues.
1) I would like to give users the option of returning to the default style if they want, I have your plugin that auto detects mobiles and your mobile options plugin although because I have auto detect on it won't allow users to goto pc mode and just returns them to the same mobile style. 2) Seem to be having cache issues with the homepage, several users have the same issue where the homepage is stuck on the first time they visited the site, the whos online info is the same, you have to refresh the homepage every time you first visit the site for it to update. |
1. Try this version of the autodetect mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...71#post1779571
2. Try adding the following: Code:
<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache" /> |

A user started getting a popup error the other day on his blackberry using this style saying
"Handler could not be removed." They get in every thread now. It comes up if posting a reply, hitting a refresh in a thread, or just clicking into a thread w/o posting. Does not appear when looking at the forum list, or a forum, only when you click into a thread or post in a thread. I had the 3.7 version of the style, deleted it and replaced it with the 3.8 version just to see if it was of any help, but no, same problem. Don't know of anything that changed on my end- any ideas what this could be? |
