Also, why is there an "Arcade" link in my navbar with the Patriot Dark style? I don't have an arcade - how can this be removed?

TandyServices 01-06-2010 12:00 PM

Oops, sorry about that. It is there now, thanks for pointing that out.

I don't seem to be getting the flag in the background, which is sort of the whole point of the skin.

Any guesses? I've re-downloaded and re-installed the skin, to no avail. Same thing on both the light and dark skins.

Thanks.

Bah! I found it. Gotta be careful about that directory structure.

For future reference for any one else: make sure that your path is: root/images/misc/USA. It's easy to accidentally make it root/images/misc/misc/USA, and then the XML won't be able to find the graphics.

Sorry all, I've been having issues again to get online. My husband is able to, but unfortunately he wasn't involved in making these styles.

@ rollerman, glad you figured it out. I'm not sure why you mention it would be easy to put in an incorrect path? If the install instructions are not clear, please let me know.

@ JWL I will look into those images, they are supposed to be there. As for the "bug" you mentioned, I am not able to reproduce it. Is there any other reason why it might be showing like that? For example, do you have any mods installed that would have effect on the header?

Thanks guys :) And I apologize for the delay
Karlijn

It's probably my FTP more than anything else. Unless I'm extra-careful in my file selection, it will just assume that I want to move the whole folder, which then creates a new sub-folder on the server. Hence, I get root/images/misc/misc instead of root/images/misc/USA.

I think your instructions are fine. It's just an easy mistake for a rookie like me to make, that's all.

What FTP Client you using?

Normally the FTP client of you drop a folder in say that looks like this

root
----Folder1
------------Folder2

Will build it accordingly, I suggest you check your option on your client, CuteFTP, WS_FTP or even FileZilla works really well.

Just wanto to report a possible issue with integrating VBadvanced. what happens is VBadvanced will hook into the blockhead_background making the style look like this
Attachment 110856

With out VBadvanced the style is hooking normally to forumhead_backgound

Anyhoot, I am working on getting VBa configured and will go live with it sometime today. Let me know if you would like to take a gander....

Thanks for your work on this
