I agree. I thought about going back to using the Quick Launch toolbar back when I first installed in January but decided to give the new taskbar a week. I won't go back to Quick Launch now.

I'll never buy Windows again (a very happy mac user).

Should receive my 3 copies of Win 7 after the 30th, according to the last email I received. I can hardly wait!
However I am not looking forward to upgrading from vista to 7. I've never upgraded an OS before.

One doesn't need to be a techie to do so. Upgrading from Vista to Win 7 is very easy, just a few clicks. :)

MAC user here as well (who happens to be using a very old PC with Win XP right now :) ), so I won't be upgrading.

Ah! yes..."work more like" but that's not the Quick Launch as we knew it.

Quick Launch can be enabled as a toolbar in Windows 7.
It's not exactly the same as Vista / XP because it is a toolbar, however....

Definitely waiting for a few months before installing. Did a fest test installs on other computers. If you upgrading from Vista then ye , install it, and installed it now! If you going from XP I'm on the fence about. Some of the new features are nice but honestly I will never used them. 7 has alot of drivers already added to the database so so far the only advantage for me is an easier installation over xp.

Has anyone seen the new Mac commercials slamming Windows 7? For all the ads they run against Windows not a single one talks about the actual Mac and it's features, they just smear Windows.
