Good Point.

After 9/11 we attacked a country that had nothing to do with it, without thought or provocation. We might as well bombed Canada.

"a lot of people who are never going to have the credentials, experience, education and training to run for high public office" = "and the votes!"

These are one and the same.

You don't have to be politically educated to understand there is something wrong with this Nobel decision.

There are people every where without jobs because of the economy, layoffs, etc who watched and read where Obama spent literally thousands on a "date night" with his wife. Sure, he should indulge in a few luxuries as president, but when your nation is going through a financial crisis and people are literally going hungry isn't good timing for it.

And I'm sure even those educated with enough credentials would agree with the OP. Obama's advice to CEOs who were/are facing bankruptcy (ex General Motors) at the time was to stop taking the corporate jet for trips to vegas, etc ...

I heard the ''Committee'' handed the Nobel Prize to Obama based on this video:

http://sendables.jibjab.com/originals/hes_barack_obama :D

The only difference between defenders of Kim Jong-il & Obama is that Obama's defenders got cheap internet :D

The difference between everything you have said is he paid for his "date night" out of his own pocket. While the CEO's put everything on the corp tab that they have been writing down as a loss or as a business expenses. They are very different things...

Do you have any supporting links? I 've never heard that.

I find it hard to believe he did considering all of the secret service, (preparations began a couple of days in advance for this trip) and not really sure about the smaller plane they flew on, but they did fly a portion of the trip on Marine One.

(and yeah, I've always resented the way CEOs waste money too and agree with Obama there. I also believe he made the right decision to bail GM out, (the company, not the CEOs) but that's a whole new thread).

Hehe... even on NobelPrize.org he's losing on the Polls...

but ''OH! numbers? pfft! numbers doesn't say anything..! you are wrong, we are right! ''

p.s. Hey! you can ask Obama a direct question (supposedly) on Nobel's site!
http://nobelprize.org/prog/php/ask_a_laureate/ he may answer you (or another charade)

Cleaned thread from insulting post and replies to this.

Please discuss in a civilized manner.

Back to the point...

Such a controversial decision, will go to the records of history as the worst election for a 'Peace'Price...

If I were Obama, I will gracefully decline and earned with the time, that makes things right...

Even worse than Yasser Arafat huh? So your indicator is perezhilton, seriously?

Fortunately 90% of the praise goes "for" Obama http://www.democraticunderground.com...pics&forum=132 It's all about perspective, this site is certainly no more unbiased than perezhilton.

iogames 10-20-2009 04:28 PM

I said for ''insults''

Ok I agree with you, is about the perspective...

I like 'ChangeBoy' but I just need you to accept is a controversial decision... maybe he earn it with the time, maybe it will blow on his face...

I bet Media will be merciless with the whole facts for years to come...
