Thats impossible unless your options are somehow corrupt - they are restored to the usergroupid stored in the mod options (ixmrestoregroup).

I'll give it a closer look when I've had some sleep. For now I had to disable it and manually run some sql to move all users out of the Inactive users group.

As you know, I heavily mod my forum, so it could be on my end. I'll run it down and get back to you anyway.

For instance, I would like to demote my members that don't contribute, but they come on board and view or do things behind the scenes etc. I want to force them to contribute, or be allowed only to view a "limbo" forum or something. I have some people who have not posted in 2 months, but they show up a couple times a week... It is irritating.

I agree; this is the function I need as well. Way too many users are lurking - I already have spiders and bots that imitate users, I don't need users who imitate spiders and bots...

Thank you, Paul

I've yet to install one of your mods that doesn't do precisely what it says on the label. First class work. Well done!

I'd really like the ability to add users from one or more usergroups who have POSTED in X days to a SECONDARY usergroup.

So, I want all super active members to be able to see a specific forum and not just the lurkers or old-time non-contributing members.

Any thoughts?

Download and installed, i'll test it as a solution for spammy registered accounts with just a signature link but no post... Thanks dude!.

Its more for (in my case anyway) keeping the board clean, organized.

Does it matter? I do not feel that my board is unorganised just because some members are not active anymore. This mod has no use imo.

Paul M 03-15-2009 09:42 PM

Then why are you posting in it

relaxiha 03-17-2009 11:10 PM

this is not working for me.

Sorry, but you need to be more informative than just "not working".
