That is the purpose of the upgrade: size control per reigon. You need to set the desired size for posts in the AME CP. It's currently set to default.

I just tested two MySpace videos and both of them 'hang' on the little logo in the middle of the video.

Anyone know if I have to do something special to make those play?

Link me to an example and I'll see if MySpace just updated their code.

Well, there's the problem. MySpace is no longer using an iFrame to display it's video content, it's using actual embed code now. So that will need to be updated by me.

Gotcha....that's cool. Just give us a shout when it's done. No rush :D

I got the ame 2.5 RC 1 to work fine on my vb Version 3.8.0 Beta 1 board. Just a few minor issues like the caching folder error and a bug with vbspell (var mispstr = ""; var misps = Array();; ).

However when I tried to import this addon I get this error:

Can not save Import because of the following error(s):
Duplicate keys found

Anyone know a way around this?

Nice mod by the way.

Keys where added to 2.5 to prevent you from importing duplicate definitions for the same site. This Add-On has all the sites that already come default with AME, so you'd need to delete your default definitions first in order to get a successful import and no matching keys.

Great. That worked!
I noticed that some videos from youtube that had alredy been on my site via the tag mod took about a minute to show after I installed this mod.

Also it was the same case with the video directory mod. When I clicked the thumbnai to view a video it would take forever for the video to show. So I went into the AME control panel and clicked Save under settings without changing anythign and the videos began to show quickly again for a short while then the same problem started again.

I'm not sure what causes this but it can be the cache feature.

Also the vbspell error seems to be cause by AME header code. What do you think?

will this work for the .swf and .flv formats ?

I had vBSpell installed at one time along with AME and didn't have any conflict. But I removed it awhile back when there was an IE error. I haven't installed it since it was last updated, but I'm not sure what would cause that. Is your vBSpell the most current?

YouTube embeds are susceptible to slow load times, and is often, though not always, a problem on YouTube's end.

We've got one for .swf, but we don't currently have one for .flv. I'll be looking into .flv during my next run through of requests. If you want the .swf you need to download the Local Hosted Videos ZIP file in my other thread in the 3.6 section. I haven't yet made a Local Hosted set for the new resizable AME, but those will work just fine.

Just wanted give a big public thank you to Digital Jedi. I had some issues on my forum (mostly due to user error) and the Jedi rescued me. I gave a nice little donation as a token of my appreciation. Job well done :up:
