I'd make it more about forums in general than vB.org. There's got to be a slew of stories you can base it off of over @ www.theadminzone.com (a forum about forum moderation).

And no, I don't wear my avatar on my shirt, but I was thinking of putting it on the hood of my car... :) Maybe just the license plate w/ my nick? Hrm... try explaining a really odd nick to the DMV... I could see that being a good comic :)

How is it you guys managed to take a perfectly good idea and spin it into something so personal? Can't we all just get along....hrm, that sounds familiar...

Anyway, there's no need for the comic to hurt anyone's feelings. Just base it on types, and combine personas, rather then real people. No one commented on whether they though my "real life" idea was workable or not.

A distant observation: The fish bowl isn't half empty. The bowl is twice the size that it needs to be.
