For some reason I can't get the images to show up correctly.
Just some X's in IE, and firefox is the same. images were uploaded to the default root/images/verification Permissions don't need to affect it. |
Hmmm -- do you definately have GD libraries installed on your server?

Very useful mod! Many thanks for providing it. :)

Installed it on 3.6.5 (updated from the older mod because bots could come in) and works perfectly.
I added the Dutch version of this mod. Phrases and images translated, not the installationguide. |
Glad to hear it's working, thanks also for the translation, if it's ok with you, when I do any updates I will release the Dutch version too?
Thanks again |
Go ahead, make other people happy with it ;)
But unfortunally the bots seem to get in anyway. I have set the number of pics high, but today another one succesfully registered on my board. They are easaly identified thanks to their names and date of birth (always 1-1-1980), but nonetheless the seem to get in anyway. |
is there a way to implement this in the sendmessage.php file. I have the 3.6 version still installed on my 3.7.2 board (clicked installed on the older thread) and I currently have my boards messaging system turned off because bots like to send me e-mail too. LOL.

I was able to convert version 1 to work with the sendmessage script, when I get a spare 5 minutes I will knock up a quick conversion.

Hi there!
I'm sorry for not replying earlier... I promised translating the product into German and I'm finally done. :) I attached the version to this posting. However, I experienced some troubles with the product while using the Interent Explorer and my Testboard (Vbulletin 3.7.2) It doesn't matter if I use the original English Addon or my German version of it. The Problem is, that everything works fine with Firefox. But when I try to register using Internet Explorer the images are not displayed at all. Just the little boxes with a red cross in them. I checked the poath to the images and it's correct. Do you have any idea what might have gone wrong? I'm using Vbulletin 3.7.2 and Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13 and as mentioned FireFox. Please let me know if you need any further information :) |
