I have found a solution, at least for my installation, making a module for vbadvanced CMPS, which is valid XHTML. If somebody is interested, see this thread on vbadvanced.

Alas, I had to remove the world clock feature because a few users come in with iPhones, and one said the clock feature was causing the forum load times to increase substantially.

Nice find. I also found out that you can go to the first world clock link and copy the HTML code into one of your templates. :)
