Is there a way to delay the redirect for 15 seconds so they can read the banned message first if they want?

What about them? Once the ban is lifted they are no longer is the banned usergroup so the code does not apply.

The redirect tells the member by word, images and sound not to come back. Although this is great for permanently banned members, this does seem wrong for temporary banned members. It would be good to have a different message for those.

I see your point. Your free to use your own link, but I'm going to implement a time duration so that it does not redirect right away. So that, the user will be able to view the ban message before being redirected.

Which template has the ban message - and could I simply put the ban message on the html page?

Well, the ban message is typed when you ban the member and I don't know what template that is. After I don't think you could have the ban message on the HTML page unless it was the same for every user.

To make a redirect after a certain amount of seconds change:

with the "0" being how ever many seconds before the redirect takes place.
