why ?

Set permission 666 for downloads.dat file, this will solve it.

I have just moved our forum from volvoclub.org.uk/forum to volvoforums.org.uk. I have regenerated new sitemaps to reflect the new URL, but will all the forum threads be in the maps or just newer ones. I don't want the old URL to be in Google's index.

Sounds good. By the way, you should update your downloads section on vBseo.com to show this is out (it currently still shows 1.7 which I was about to install until I noticed this thread).

Will post back if I have trouble with the install. Thanks, I'm excited about vBseo! I just bought two licenses on Friday.
