He is lying about the checks. That is not even debateable. My step-brother is an attorney and just read this thread. In order for him to be held accountable for the funds drawn on bad checks, he had to be the writer of the checks. EVERY check that is cashed comes with a "returned" check. That "returned" check shows the writers signature. Seeing as it is a checking account, every past check is on file. (For a minimum of one year.) They could easily compare the fraudulent checks against past checks for signature comparison.

So, I am saying that he has lied. He either wrote the bad checks, or he was never robbed in the first place and made the entire thing up.

Interesting that he has visited and posted today, but, doesn't have the balls to address the problem or defend himself in this thread.
