He's doing it (on just one of his sites) to test some of his own theories on SEO. Those theories require a range of SEO configurability which vBSEO allows for far beyond Zoints SEO or any other for that matter.

Plus I'm sure he's learning about all it's inner workings so he can make Zoints SEO better for free :D

DC is a very intelligent & great guy. I wish him the best.

I always +++++ to vBSEO people about not having a branding free option because I am not allowed to use any outside brandings. Well, apart from that, i find VBSEO really good value and product! Besides this, every problem I saw with clients having problems with hacks and stuff, they were solved in a sec.

But, for now, I am not planning on buying. Not even having a line on all my pages with an outside brand.
