for me is low, now it is about 20-30 register member per day
I'm amazed, 500 to 1000 users a day registering. WOW
On site #1, I get the odd person to signup a day.
On site #2, around 10. |
My registration stats are pretty pathetic...1-3 a day on average. I'm getting pretty good traffic from new uniques, but they're just not sticking around. :(
i get about 400 a day on each of my forums... But i deleted inactive users every 30 days (if user has no posts). It doesnt matter how many users you get a day, its all about how many become active users...
those numbers are amazing.........I get about 1 a month.....hehehehe
LOL I have had 17 members for the past 2 weeks....

who cares how many new registrations you get each day when the activity is soo low and the members never do anything except use up bandwidth... if they even show up? i get under 20/day on one of my forums and am smoking soo many of these so-called "big-boards" in posts totals and overall activity.

Well, i have unique content...... And i had a popular website.. (created in February, but scoring 10 on alexa for reach per million, which i guess aint bad) so obviously changing from Joomla to a Vbulletin board would have got people registering etc. I have over 4300 members now since july when i started from scratch. So, get good articles, write good stuff.... people will talk about it.. Find something you like and talk about it. Also, every board has its own "culture" or atmosphere, just like in a class or an office. You have to find a way to cultivate and make a culture of posting :D .... its pretty hard. I have 2000 members who havent posted anything. Be kind and welcome every new member personally whenever you can. |
