Has there been any thought of integrating this into the Google Desktop sidebar?

Not only will it require a seperate codebase, i would have to learn how to use the google desktop api.. I just dont have time to expand into new areas right now. |
Thanks for the response. It really is a great "hack" you've got. I'd love to see it integrated with Google, so I'm subscribing to this thread for updates.

Does this app affects the "las time online" date? I mean, if i dont enter X forum within 2 days but the program is running, when I go back to the forum it says "Your last visit was 1 minute ago".

If there was an API developed by vbulletin or possibly myself in the future; we could handle plaintext username/password logins and retrieval of personalized forum info without the need to route through the vbulletin session system. In short; currently yes you will be shown as logged in as long as its checking your private messages. |

will definately check this out. Looks interesting :)

i assume all the right click stuff doesn't work yet?
I was working on a system like this, but used a java server to communicate to the apps. But it was site dependent. Imma look at the source, wish it was .NEt tho. |

As for .NET sorry; I dont code in any Microsoft derived languages or libraries for a reason. :) ps. With exception of the Greta Open Source Library created by one of Microsofts Devs. |
I haven't installed it, yet, as I am on a Mac. But once your Mac version comes out I would be delighted to help with the testing process.
I have clicked install so that I can get updates as to latest releases. Many thanks for building and sharing this amazing application, I look forward to your future work on this project. |
