I have been using your mod on my forum together with vbExperience. I don`t know whats wrong sometimes users get a negative points balance for no reason, and one of my members purchased points from our site with real money and ended up with a negative balance.

There must be a glitch in the mod somewhere because this shouldn`t be happening.

Same problem I have. My users get a negative points balance and when they use stolen and it successful done but after while the balance disappear.

I use 4.1.4

I hope the developer will reply to us.

I LOVE this mod! Is there anyway to make it where store items have the delivery system of posting to a certain thread?

I have vshop installed too which I'd to get away from, but I cannot seem to find where to put bank interest in this Market mod. Many of my members have their points in the vshop mod, and I would love to make it where I can ask them to withdraw them and then deposit so I can get rid of vshop, it's nothing in comparison to this one. I truly think this is far superior in all it allows and is more professional looking.

Looks like you can't delete them in this version. hopefully on the next release. i would just disabled them now until TheMayhem comes back.

This mod uses way too many mysql queries.

I loaded my profile page and it sent over 700 queries to my database. It does this every time I load my page. (Disabling this mod brought it down to about 48... so I know it was because of this mod).

Right now I think you are using some sort of loop that submits a query to check for every action I've made with the point market (donating, gifts, etc.). This amounts to about 700 or so...

There needs to be a better way to retrieve the data rather than a loop... I had to disable this mod in order to keep my query count reasonable for my host.

edit: using Point Market System 3.1x, and the latest version of vbulletin 4.1.4PL2

There's a fix in the above captioned quote. I don't understand why they don't put that in the first post of these threads. 130 pages of a thread is an awful lot of posts to sift through and most people who run a forum that is growing and thriving .. frankly do not have the time to read that MANY posts.

The Bank Interest isn't working right either and that has yet to be addressed in 4.1.4. I wish the developer would come back and address that issue.

Yes but if they skip ahead to the last page the fix can EASILY be found, as it keeps getting repeated numerous times. But agreed, it should be put into the first post for sure.

I am loving this mod but one thing was bought to my attention today. One of our members tried to create his own forum but was denied. I tried it myself and scoured every setting I could find but still no Joy.

Below are the before and after screen shots and you will see the required fields are filled in.

Any ideas?

I am getting this issue again. Can access the store but get the no permission message when I try to purchase something. This is happening with all of my usergroups. I have tried to deny then allow several times and it still is not allowing access.

Hello Mayhem, I've downloaded it and been experiencing these problems:

- Stealing doesn't work. Even if you set it to 100% efficiency, the user does not get the points.

- The forum permission item does not work (I've put correctly the forum ID in the settings - forum keys). I guess this one is simpler; what do I must do? Change anything in usergroup permissions?

The discount option has been setup under usergroup permissions. But it is showing up as 0% on the actual items.

Is there another step I'm missing?

Also coupons don't seem to show up under items. It displays this message:

"Your primary usergroup does not have access to use coupons on this item". I enabled the usergroup to use coupons for particular items and coupon access has been purchased.

I am having the problem where a user will use the gambling feature or steal feature and then lose most of their points right after.

Anyone know what's causing this?

Ummm... Could someone tell me how to change a forum items refund status???

When I go under edit market items there is no control for the refund switch. Some items I want to be refundable and other not. But I've not found a way to change the refund status of each market item? :confused:

So just in case TheMayhem comes back, can I suggest adding the ability to buy someone else an additional usergroup (with expiration)?

edit: I've started to cobble together a way to do it, but another suggestion would be an easy way to include other third party scripts...

Great mod.

Problem I have is relating to secondary usergroup. When I go into the 2 already-created secondary usergroup items, it only lets me select Primary Usergroup. If I create a new secondary usergroup item, the new item only has the select Primary Usergroup pull down box in it.

Any ideas? I am sure the Secondary Usergroup pull down box was there when I first installed it.

Another issue is that when a user purchases a usergroup change item, their name changes from black to red.
