Hve you tried uploading the files of the chatbox again and verifying that the templates were not modified by yourself ?

I fixed it, it was the header that I was using. Do you mind, going back to the site and make sure, I got it working right?

Bug found: Problem with IE refreshing the chat box, it appears just "loading...".

Which version of the chatbox do you use ? Is it after upgrade to a new version or at first install ?

Have you uploaded all the js files and revert tempaltes in case of update ?

That will happen if you use the cmps module with the lastest Chatbox version.

does this mod make server high load if my site is hosted in shared hosting ?

The server load added by the chatbox depends of the configuration you do :)

IF you keep the refresh rate reasonable and you don't activate warning systems this should be good.

becuase each time you want to change the font size or color you have to select it.. unlike the vbshout..

But you can do that through your usercp this is more vbulletin way of seing.

I didn't like the mod so I un-installed it and I get this error when I try to edit a usergroup:

This is because you didn't followed the uninstall instructrions.

You have to remove first the chatbox files (and especially the one in the xml directory) and then uninstall the products.

To correct that problem, you have to remove the files and then rebuild manually the bitfields.

Hum, when you look at your chatbox templates in the acp, does they look like not orignal ? I mean have you done modifications to them ?

v2.0 Development Update :

Hi everyone !

As every monday, I post a little update on the development of the 2.0 version.

I have made good progress last week ! The acp part of the "suprise" (which is the base of 2.0) is near from completion, I just have one functionnality remaining which I will finish this week.

Next I will have to rework the user side but this is basically well thought so that should be quite easy to do it :).

As the things are going, I think that perhaps I could be able to launch a beta phase in 2 weeks (if the chatbox is mature enough at that time which I think it will).

So as you can see things are going well :) I think I might make less progress this week as I am doing big changes to my hack selling forum due to recent plagia of one of my products by vbteam ...

I'll let you wait for the next progress update ;)

nyunyu go into each usergroup and setup the permissions for them to see it. The default is they cannot.

Mainly set "Can use MGC Chatbox?" to YES and set the other stuff to whatever you want...

The Usergroup colours are being displayed in there Primary Usergroup Colour not there Display Usergroup colour - Is it possible to change this please or direct me on where to start looking at this.

I am using this at www.unp-hq.com it is VBA but its shall we say "different" to all other usergroup colourings on the rest of the site.

Been looking around for the right chatbox for a week or so and you seem to have hit the nail nicely on the head with this - good job.

One other thing not a real fan of the <Name> how do I remove the <> please.

a9 Smiley Problem. I have the same Problem as everyone, that th wrong Smileys displayed.

b) I think its better, that the Smileylist loads, if the User Click on the Icon.. and not if the User load the side. It takes to long loadingtime, if 60 Smileys displayed :)

These error comes since Chatbox. And LIMIT 0, 10; is a setting from chatbox. I think there are some Problems with the Smilies- the Limit of 10 is the actual setting. How i can fix it? In the erlier Version there was a fix.
I dont found the code to Change... where is ist?

The LIMIT 0,10 is not appearing only in the chatbox, there are many other query which should look like that in vBulletin.

Trust me when I say this is not chatbox purpose at all, I don't see why I would query the forum, post, icon and threaread database tables from within the chatbox.

Check the Script stated in the mysql error (which you didn't paste here), you'll see that I am right.

hmm.... if i change it to 20, then comes the error with 20. If i Change it to 80, then comes 80 :D

Ad if i deaktivate the chatbox, then all runs perfect. But i need that chatbox :D
