how to make this plugin fit for php version > 5.4?

when I run vbulletin on php 5.5 the member map will not display anymore ...

Has anyone worked out how to make this compatible with SSL?

I just updated to PHP Version 5.6.28 and it stopped working for our members as well.. :(

We're also going to HTTPS shortly and I assume from other posts, it probably won't work with that anyway?

Has anyone found a good replacement for this add-on since it's not supported any longer?

Follow up...

Definitely doesn't work with SSL and HTTPs://

If you change the internal link it sends to Google to just HTTP:// it starts working again, but I don't know hw to do that in his code.

Same problem here with HTTPS. Did anybody ever figure out a solution?

Here is an update but it doesn't help much. I changed all instances of http in the XML file to https. I then went to products and reimported the XML file choose to write over the previous settings.

The map now loads but is dark and watermarked "development" version. All my pins are there but you can't zoom the map in any way.

From what I can see, it has something to do with the API key. I don't know where to go from here.

Just a small update. Yes, it actually seems to be working properly. Pins are there ad link properly. You can zoom and use the map just as before. But the map is dark and marked for development purposes.

Come on folks, I am certainly NOT a coder and know little about what I am doing. Surely there is somebody here who knows more about this than I do that can help get this worked out.

OH well, I guess nobody is messing with this any longer. Too bad, it was a good mod. Actually, this entire site seems to be pretty dead. Used to get a lot of responses here.

It appears that nobody cares but I do have this running properly on my https site now. It can be done. It requires that you get your own Google API and put in the code though. Working great. I'm not a coder and finally paid for some help with it but there really isn't another product that works as well for what I needed.
