Is it possible to not have them register on the forum through facebook, but to just integrate their accounts so they can get updates?

Great hack but one question

Won't this detour members from posting to your forum? I'm not sure I'm getting the this. Please advise as I'm a tech dummy :D

Detour? Well, it doesn't actually take them to Facebook, it just lets 'em login with FaceBook. They'll be redirected back to the forum. Plus, it will send them notifications of posts they're subscribed to and PMs when they are in FaceBook. So it kind of does the opposite. ;)
