good question Also please tell me how to get the video box bigger like enlarge n center it with the tags n comment boxes under the video box instead of the default tags to the right n comments under it with the video on the left in a small box ..
i actually want to enlarge n center the video box

does anybody know if you can use this plug-in twice, like 2 different instances or 2 seperate pages, for example if I wanted to have one page for one type of video, and one page for another type of video.. Thanks..

I figured out how to do it. If you create another category it actually creates another page. ( duh) If I need to I can just add other tab to that page etc..

P.S. keep in mind, the coder doesnt get paid for this stuff. This is a great free mod, If he doesnt check in every day, thats to his discretion, he hasnt stated yet that he is not going to support this mod.. It shows up top that he has visited in Jan. , its only the 10th. Give him a chance.. :)

np , dont misunderstand me , im not bashing him at all lol .. just saying he is concentrating his work else where . but yes this mod is insane i love it .. adds spunk to the forums . i just wish i can figure out how to get any video for that matter show in a bigger block other than the defualt 685 by 345 not sure where to change this ..

i uploaded the files and i also uploaded the productd from admin cp, but i receive a message like "you do not have permission to see that page" what is the problem? and i also could not find the permissions for this. and Admin Control Panel > Plugins & Products > Plugin Manager > "media NAVTAB"

there is not this section..

im almost positive i had the same issue you have to go to your user groups permissions and give yourself permission to view it . if im correct

There is a section or two in usergroup permission for the Media Library. :D

Maybe you didn't upload all the files correctly or it didn't install right, maybe you should reupload all the files and reinstall, to see if this helps.

ACP > Usergroups > Usergroup manager > Edit Usergroup (eg Adminstrator)

Scroll all the way to the bottom and second to last is: Media Library Permissions

Tick all these and the Media Library Moderation Permissions ones too for Admin group.

thank you i find all and do it. but problem did not finish, now i loaded a video but when i click on it i receive a mesaage from my host. the page could not found.

It is working fine for me in 4.1.1 but it was already installed when I upgraded to 4.1.1. I have not tried installing it on a fresh 4.1.1 system.

I'm running 4.1.1 as well. pre installed before updating from 4.0.5 to 4.1.1. Works great.

After uninstall and install again, now I can use it and add category.

However, do you know how to delete the category. Currently I just able to make status 0 which become inactive. But can not delete it. Please advise.

Btw, thanks for this wonderfull add on.

Add a custom variable name in order to enable this custom variable.

is this what i need to add categories ? if so how do i write one does this require html or somthing , maybe if someone can start me off with an example or something cause i wouldnt have a clue . if not where do i make a category . theres alot fo pages here i went through the first 50 pages im tired

i just saw where theres suppose to be some kinda administrative tab in the nav but its not there

First I would like to say that this was a great mod to install. Thank you.

I want to change all the wording that says "Media" to "Video". I was able to find where I change this in the Navbar link. That was easy.

But what section in this templete do I go to change all the wording from "Media" to "Video"? I hope it is just one section, if not is there a lot of places I have to go in to change it to make it happen?

zakonline, you will need to ensure correct permissions have been applied to your usergroups, Media Library permissions should be near the bottom

ADMINCP > USERGROUPS > USERGROUP MANAGER

Hi,
I've installed the media-library.
Maybe there is a problem with umlauts? - like "ä" ,"ö",

If a video on youtube contains umlauts, they are not shown in my media-library.

Is there a fix?

I am using this hack as a gallery, so I changed the video with photo, but I am facing one problem after delete the (Link Input)

(Please fill the service ID and service VAL to submit new media)

How can ignore this and add pages without paste any video link?

Hey, i have this mod installed and working fine! So its all good...

one thing tho... i have the top 5 latest vids in my home displayed which is great,,, but the font is white and the background is white around it... How do i change the fonts colour to black or something?

And also... is there a way i can embed the top 5 latest videos into the forum section aswell?

would anybody else be willing to update jaxel's code so this is possible? it is something I require and would be happy to pay for. sadly jaxel doesn't seem to be interested in continuing this mod.
