Hi. I have installed you chat. It is very fast. Great. But I have a problem to format text.
When I'm logged and I change color, change all text, also text of other member.
But if i'm no logged in, i see text formatted good with different color of member.
Why?
How can I change the widht of text? The text is small. Thanks a lot Sandra

There is nothing in the error log. It's all good. ACP looks fine.
What would be the best way to uninstall it?
Then I can try to install it again.

The ability to override others' shout colours is a Pro-only feature, as is changing text size :)

Just uninstalling it from the Product Manager is fine :)

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still not working. Any other ideas???? I had an earlier version that was working with 4.1.3. But after the upgrade to V4.1.11 it stopped. Is there somthing I should look for in the data base?

You need to set up the technicalemail config.php variable to point to a valid email address, then it will start sending you database error emails :)

there is still a security problem with 6.0.7 i tryed to log onto my site and i just got a white page with rainbow text up top that said "Im back"

so i disable the shoutbox and it was gone? any help?

According to vBulletin.org you're still on v6.0.3, which was and still is vulnerable :)

I went ahead and unistalled then went to install a fresh copy before i seen your reply

When i upload the product i get:

Uninstall and reinstall will not fix the fact that there are / were files on your web server you had not deleted.

Please upload the contents of the upload folder to your forums folder, then uninstall the mod and reinstall it.

Afterwards, please follow the instructions in the file I mentioned in my previous post. This is a critical step and cannot be resolved any other way than to follow those precise instructions :)

I removed all the files from the DBTech Shout, Re-installed then got the errors

You tell me to do the exact same as i did

That could only possibly happen if you didn't uninstall the product before attempting a reinstall, which is what lead me to believe it hadn't been uninstalled :)

I have gone to my FTP and removed all the files for the DBTech shout

Installed all the files back
CHMOD the AOP to 07773

That's the same error message for the 3rd time and unfortunately there's nothing more I can do beyond what I have already said, sorry :(

the 6.0.7 has files that are renamed so in the older versions such as 5.4.8 you need to take out all those files i believe that in the install text there is the directions on what to remove in there ....

just from looking at error this may be server related if everything was uploaded properly ....

I removed all files i assure you, I looked especially for those 3 files and any other file associated to this mod but no luck so it looks like i will have to install a different 1 :-(

I have many DBTech mods and really miss this and have been made to use a different chat box for the time

after being uninstalled, this section is still displayed in user groups page :(MGC Chatbox Evo : Custom permissions) , not removed

This is the reason that I got the same database error
How can I solve this and remove that section from user groups page?
Downloading the original vbullettin script may resolve the issue?

Where do I find the technicalemail config.php file?
Also If I was to delete the 3 database entries for the shout box and reinstall it, will it make a new database entry? Or is there some config.php file I need to look at.
