How does the award system calculate TIES?

I have 4 users with 100% activity... shouldn't they all get the activity award?

the awards is for ONE person...depends on what you selected for activity it coul dbe cause one has more post then the other more threads then the other etc

The activity award uses "Activity"... I have 4 users with 100% activity.

it could be because one reached 100% before the other cause one was registered before the other etc etc the mod calculates all that....

i can't tell you exactly the reason because i've changed all mine

Is there a way to remove Admins or specific users from getting Awards, but still count them in the points/levels rankings? Basically I still want users to see my vBExperience stats in my Public Profile etc, but I would rather let the normal members fight over the awards themselves?

I figured this one out. Basically created my own Plugin on the fetch_musername hook. I set the execution order to 1 to make sure to fires before this mod and then entered this code:

that fixed it for me...

It seems you have an outdated "cpnav_xperience.xml". Please update ALL files.

As promised, Beta 1 of 3.7.18 has been released. Please keep in mind that this release it NOT stable. Test it on your own risk.

Rough Changelog of 3.7.18 BETA 1:
- Shop: User can sell item back to shop and get 75% points back (amount setable)
- Shop: User can give away item (gift) to someone
- Shop: Transactions in AdminCP are now paged
- Shop: User can see own transactions
- Shop: Categories have now an icon and a description
- New page: Earn Points. It tells the user where and how he can get points. Title and description are pulled from phrases of the settings
- New revision of CDP to support Earn Points
- Added row breaker for profile shop items

Please report bugs/suggestions directly to this thread.

I have conducted a contest this month and used this mod for points. now i wanna host another contest and want the points to be started from 0.
I can level them 0 by deleting the statistics, but i want to know if i can do something like, points for each month or each week displayed separately, so that the total points of the user on board remains the same.

Bugs

1. you've got a couple of uncache template

xperience_shop_ga_choose
xperience_shop_ta
xperience_shop_ta_entry

2. when i give away an item it fowards me back to http://www.dancehallareaz.com/xperience.php?go=shop when it should be http://www.dancehallareaz.com/forum/xperience.php?go=shop (so i got a 404 error)

and the item ISN'T on the person i gave it profile....it still shows on my profile but yet it does show that it was "gave away". and when i go to shop to see my items it DOES show that i don't have the item cause it was giving away....


3. In admincp when you go to manage shop

the install instructions in beta mode say "2. ReImport product_vbexperience3717.xml, allow overwrite" but don't yo mean 3718 ?

ok so i already have an upload folder from another add-on saved under my forums directory, can i rename the file folder from this add-on and still have it work

Color me stupid, but darned if I can find where to sell/buy back shop items and give items to other users. I see in the setup the percent for buying back and its set to allow giving of items, but where or where do my users find the options to do so?

Really appreciate your efforts and the way this mod is turning out. Keep up the good work.

go to the experience shop
then right under the label shop you'll see something like

You purchased 1 item(s). Click here for a listing.

Click on it and you'll see your item witht he give away option

Thanks for the help on that, my brain was definately disengaged. I don't allow my admin account to participate in the vbexperience, so not being able to buy anything means nothing was available to give away or sell, so no menu options under items purchased. My regular user account has everything right where you said it would be, Thanks for the help.

Small bug perhaps ...

When an item is given away, the redirect sends to this page: /xperience.php?go=shop in the root of the domain. My vb runs in the community directory, so it should redirect to community/xperience.php?go=shop.

Everything purchased in the shop redirects correctly.
