I get this when trying to purchase a gift.

If you are having a problem with one user where other users in his usergroup can get access but he can't then here is what I would do.

Go to AdminCP >> Users and find the user with the problems. I double check which usergroups he is a part of, and then at the bottom of the page, check and make sure that you are giving him access to the store.

Check with the user and find out what browser they are using and what version it is. Make sure it's not an old browser that doesn't support .png images.

To edit the avatars permissions, you need to go to AdminCP >> Avatars >> Avatar Manager when in there you will see all of the categories and on the right hand side you will see "Avatar Permissions", go in there and edit the usergroups for all of your categories. When you do that all the avatars will then disappear out of their usercp and show up in the store when they want to purchase one.

No, I am stumped. His username is just a name with letters, nothing unusual.

He has the same primary and secondary group as others that can view the store. He has access to the store (I turned it on and off)

He has tried it in both Firefox and IE. I asked him if he would change his password and send it to me to check it out, he did and it was the same for me as it was for him. it's not his browser or system.

It's weird, usually I can figure these things out on my own, but this one I can't..

it should set everything from the merging user account to the test 1. with all defaults. post count , etc.

if you want i can test it with you. aim me at lnlsupport and i will post on a test user and you can do the same on another and well merge then to see what we get. im sure everything rolls over.

I can't recreate it, I have purchased multiple gifts in 1.1.7 with the pm enabled and all works great.

After looking at some of the code, you need to check a couple things. First make sure that the "from" user is a valid user. Make sure you have a userid (number) and not a username (name) in there. Also verify that the userid is a valid one. After looking at it more, this field isn't used when sending gifts. It looks like it's running into an error constructing the pm that is sent to the person receiving the gift.

Are you trying to purchase for multiple people at the same time? Are you filling in all fields? Are you spelling the name correctly that you are purchasing for? Try their userid instead of their name when purchasing and see what happens.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but does the user you are purchasing the gift for allow pm's?

You cant do that because it actually downloads the attachment, you cant redirect after it has sent a 'header(...blah)' and sent the download.

Yes, it counts the total number of tickets and generates a random number from 0 to that number and pulls that entry as the winner.

Set those settings in the Forum Settings for each forum. Then in eBux Options make sure the multipliers are 1.

That is how its supposed to work. If you didnt have it cover the online image it would push that image down to the next line due to the glow feature being displayed as display:block;

Not likely as it does not even know the ribbons table exists, or modify anything other than estore_gifts and the estoregifts table entry.

Have you modify any of the estore templates? If so, a revert may be required.

Just modify the template edit for MEMBERINFO, its that easy. Where it says $gift[message] remove that part and fix it up to your liking.

Thats how the glow feature works, to avoid pushing stuff down because of the display:block; like I explained a little bit above.

May I suggest an attachment feature?

Downloaders pay X points per attachment, AND uploaders only receive one third (or some percentage) of X points per attachment.

Maybe points per attachment depends on file size too. That would be cool ;)

OK I see where people are getting confused.

The items are listed as free, no where does it say that a weekly or daily ticket cost 500 or 1000 points. Only just noticed the ticket price when looking through manage lotterys.
Think this needs to be fixed.

Soon as you hit purchase on a lottery type, like Weekly Lottery, Daily Lottery, it takes you to another confirmation page that tells you the price and then you can buy the ticket from that second confirmation page.

Just change it to 1 for now, then run Cron Job for Process Lottery and it should draw a winner and fix it.

Thanks for the great work an this ... it is absolutly the best hack we have.

As long as u do not uninstall, the points, settings, history, etc should stay the same. It does not alter any templates, u have to do the template edits manually.

Sounds like an expiring issue is still around, can you PM me the contents of your estore_history field for the username you are using?

There is an extra field in the user table that checks when the user last received a birthday present. If its now > 364 days, it will not give them points. (I used 364 to verify it could overlap by a day properly.)

You disable those features to make it so they are only available for purchase for that usergroup that you disabled the settings for.

The signature shouldn't end up in the postbit should it? Usually it goes under the post, and the only time it is displayed is when the user makes a new post. The signature won't show up on old posts the user made unless the user had a different signature when they made the post.

I posted several times with the new sig after i bought access...no dice.

Okay, trying to figure out settings for lottery but numb brain today.

Want to add a new lottery that will be twice a week, would like it on Wednesday and Saturday recurring, is this possible? Or would you need to make one lottery for Wednesday and another one for Saturday. What would be the time active settings then for Wednesday? and Saturday?

That is how all points system works. It would be too many queries to remove points for all of the users that had posted in the thread.

yes i did request it and i thank you for all your hard work. i didnt know you were going to add a second step. what i had in mind is put a message next to the attachement that says

(example) to download this attachment will cost you (1) point

or

(1) point to Download this attachement

and after they click on lets say 4 attachements , it will take a way the points automatically with out the second option.

Reventing the template worked, wonder why it was a problem for just him? All I did was edit the welcome text, now I use the phrase instead.

Anyways, great hack. I voted for hack of the month. Using this I will be able to offer more items then just listed by adding creativity. Having users "donate" to a specified user account I made and in return I will manually add features they "bought".

Should add more content to my forum.

I am working on a new item and noticed that you have a column in the estoreitems table called changeaways. Is this supposed to be there or was it a typo that was corrected, but the wrong column left? Off the top of my head I can't think of what would use this column.
