Hello,
I installed the hack, everything seemed to go well, but I have a couple of silly questions: 1. After posted a betting event, I can't see anything in the thread, although I can find it via vBookie menu, is it normal? Also can't find where to bet. 2. Does it set limit on a member can bet? What will happen if someone bets more than the points he has? Thanks! |
I would really appreciate some help.
Am absolutely convinced I followed everything to the letter. I have checked each of my templates and they match the instructions. I have switched eveyrthing on in admin CP (andthey stay on) have amended forum permissions AND user permissions to allow use of vbookie. BUT when i make a new thread/post - there is no option to create an event - I am assuming it should be in the drop down menu under 'add poll' - but I get nothing. Help would be appreciated. **** Ignore me - I'm a tosser, didn't see the check box at the bottom ****** thanks, al working well |

OK, now I am lost. This installed and worked. I created a bet event as test, i abandoned it and now it won't give me the option to create a new event - the tick box isn't there. any chance of someone able to guide me. Have logged under different ids but no joy. All usergroups are set up for us all forum permissions are set up for us and the mail switch is set to on. looks like a great feature and would love to use it regualarly. thanks in advance |
Please can someone give me some advice. Got 3.5.3 installed and trying to install this mod. However, the one template edit says
EDIT: Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates * navbar FIND Code: <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td> Is not there under nav??. I have searched all my templates for this code and nothing is being returned? Am i being stupid? Therfore, my VBookie link doesnt work and i cant find the ADmin Vbookie permissions under Usergroups. Thanks |
shaynehammy: 3.5.3 is little bit different. Search "<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php?$session", then add the line in the same way.
|
So this hack works on 3.5.3?
|
yes it does
