Another month has passed, and the raffle is NOT auto drawing.

As you can see it's says "Waiting to be drawn", with a draw date of 05/31/12 7:00am, which has passed.

I'm not sure what is causing this issue, this is two raffles in a row now.

Tried to run the draw manually, and got a huge code error.. PM'd you the results.

Upgraded to the latest version, exact same issue.

Something has to be very wrong with your setup.

If you are having problems, the best I can offer is to look at your setup.

In order to do that I'll need a temporary admin username and password PM'd to me.

EDIT: Just to double check that PMs are being sent (which is where the errror is happening on your site) I've enabled them in the automated draw on my site. I should know something in the next 30 minutes.

Running it manually may have just complicated things to where an error was forced.

In any case, this is most definitely a server problem on your end. The draw ran and the associated PMs were sent properly on my server. And I would imagine that if this was happening to other people, I'd be inundated with error reports from other users. The raffle draw scheduled task code hasn't changed since version 1.3.0. It hasn't needed to. So I'm sure if there was a problem I would have heard of it long ago.

It could be because the server time doesn't match your set display time. Which would make you think the cron didn't run. See this post...

Or it could be a general settings problem for the raffles. And for that I can only check what is wrong with a temporary admin username and password for your site. If you want me to look at it, send me a PM with that info.

Well that's the thing, it just happened out of the blue, nothing was changed. It was running normally for months and months. So I can't see it being a different time issue, or anything. I think I'm just going to uninstall it and no use it if it can't work with my setup. Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem. You're asking me to locate a problem that doesn't exist on anyone else's system without allowing me to look at your system (which is the only one I know of with this problem) to locate what is causing the issue.

EDIT: Looking back in post history, it looks like you may have changed the PM message ( https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=450 ). Try putting it back to the original message to see if that fixes the problem. Also, did you attempt to make any changes so the winners get a different PM depending on which prize they won like you mentioned here... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=447 ? It just seems odd that it worked fine until after that sequence of posts and then the error in the PM routine (which is where the error is on your system) popped up.

I don't know how to change any of that information, that's why I was asking here. So no I didn't change anything.

I have no intention of coding a purchase system. There are legal issues involved on my end if I do that.

However, you can use AW Coding's Credit Purchase System so member can purchase "raffle tickets".

Some people report issues with that system, but I have never had a problem setting it up.

I can't figure out how to set it up. Any way you could tell us?

The instructions are included in the raffle zip file.

However if you are using vB 4.2.0, that product has not been updated to work with the new vB version.
