I have the problem:

Search Engines Pings
Google Successful
Bing FAILED
Yahoo FAILED
Ask Successful

no one have anny idea?

Installed perfectly on VB 4.1.5...BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM...a BIG one at that!

When i click on VBSEO Sitemap reports in my ACP, the login screen appears that asks for the password, on entering the password, i get taken to my site homepage instead of the Sitemap reports page..

Also if i try www.mysite/vbseo_sitemap/ - same thing happens...the login screen appears that asks for the password, on entering the password, i get taken to my site homepage instead of the Sitemap reports page..

I have been researching for this for 4-5 hours now and nothing..

BTW

1. I have the .htaccess in place.
2. I use VBSEO
3. MODRewrites work fine for me
4. I use VB Suite 4.1.5

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Yahoo/Bing have terminated ping services. This is beyond our control.

If you're login isn't working, it sounds like a base slash is in correct. Check your vboptions/settings and make sure all settings have proper trailing slashes, or not, as required by vb.

Anyone have idea on this? It's been going on for so long now, that I think it's just ruined my ranking in Google.

Im kind of new at this and i hope i dont sound like and idiot but where to i upload the htaccess file that is included with this mod? or do i only upload the folder that says "upload"

Is this mod still supported? I've been having this issue for months, and still hoping to get it fixed. Otherwise I'm going to need to uninstall it.
