Have you checked the path in server options in Vbulletin. also in php adsnews have you checked the path to the banner.

Have you tried to uninstall and re install the phpadsnew 1.0.4.xml file then reset in server path to it.

1.0.4

1. Import product as usual, with "Allow Overwrite" set to Yes.

I have tried all above.
Stil the same problem.
But i use vBSEO, i think that VBSEO rewrite the url's.

I use vBSEO also and no problems with it. you could try a fresh install and drop the tables for it in phpmyadmin and start over.

I use a separate db for it so hopefully it will be as easy for you as it was for me as it only took me 3 min to delete and reinstall it.

sorry I could not have been more help but hopefully someone else can.

Rather than searching through 20 pages of posts, I will ask what has probably been already asked on each page... Does this work with 3.6.x?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, i use vBulletin 3.6.5 :)

LWillmann 04-13-2007 04:10 PM

I'm having a problem with this...

I'm running vBulletin 3.6.5, vbPortal 3.6.3, PhotoPost Pro, and Zoints Local on my site.

I installed the latest version of PAN (OpenAds now) and installed the XML file here. I set the folder for PAN in the AdminCP, and made the template edits.

The vbPortal uses it's own footer template, and that's different from vB's footer template. So I placed the <ad what="zone:1"> in both where it's supposed to go.

The ads are displaying on the portal page, but not in the message forums or the photo galleries pages.

The site is:
www.minixriders.com (works on home page)
The forums are located at www.minixriders.com/forums (there's a link on the home page, and the ads do NOT work on these pages).

I have tried a relative path (relative to the forum home path) "../sponsors", and I've tried the full physical path "/home/..........." both with and without the trailing slash and neither has worked for the forums pages.

But the portal page seems to work just fine, and I'm using the same template commands.

Just installed this great mod and got it working :)

But I have an issue here. As I am using the "resize image" mod the vBA page, my resized images are all 400pixels. When I have the banners up, they are being reized also.

Is there a way to add an "id" to the </ad> tag? I tried to do this, but it didn't work.

<ad what="zone:1" id="topbanner" />
appreciate any help here :)

btw, is there a way to rotate banners? I run throught the posts but it seems like many of you encountered problems.
