Most of my users are still having trouble with the shoutbox loading.

Is this a known issue?

I am on the latest release in hopes of fixing the old lag issue.

I followed the instructions to the "T" best I can tell... I've tried numerous time to install, with the same results...

Hopefully this is an easy answer. How can I get the chatbox "not" to show up on a certain style. I've tried creating a new style with no parent style, hoping that the code wouldn't be injected, but the chatbox still shows up. What template do I need to edit and what part needs to be edited to remove the chatbox from, for instance, my iphone style.?

you probably have one or more older templates that are not including the securitytoken with the post.

Unless you installed it incorrectly you shouldn't have issue.

"Easy", I won't say that but it's feasible.

A way to do it is to look at the style issue fix in the readme. It explains you how to put chatbox on a var for forumhome.

Then just insert it only in the needed style :)

VBDev, any way I can add the chat box outside forum_home?

When I try to add:
$chatbox_forumhome

On another template, such as of another plugin so people can chat at the bottom, it won't show up. The $chatbox_forumhome works though on forumhome.

u can see the chat noprobs it just dosn't refresh now and then
