How can i add a new service from, for example, an adult video site?

HEY GUYS I can use some help , in this rar theres upload file n a .htaccess file i did the upload folder to the root but when ever i put the .htaccess file in there it gives me a server error and wont let my site load so i keep having to delete it in order to get the site to load .. so do I need this file in there or no ? , if i do can someone tell me fix

also more over when i leave that file out n just go n install the xml file i get this error message

i second what he said does anyone have this running on 4.1 ? im trying to do a fresh install of 1.7 media library. the .htaccess file gives me a server error if i put it into the directory without it being in the upload folder already . but i dont put it in there because it doesnt come int there . anyone know or have different install instructions for vb4.1 patch 2 update ?

im running this on vb 4.1 PL 2. the only problem im having thus far is that it's not creating threads for new videos. anyone have any ideas what could be causing the problem?

so very simply it says to install the upload folder to the root {done} add the permissions to the specific folders {done} then add the xml file . but then I get this when i try to install the xml file :

How do I move the media tab near the end of navtabs?

very nice installed and voted but I have a problem with changing the Navtab name on 8WR_media_NAVTAB template or the phrase {vb:phrase media} so I have changed it to video Tutorials but change nothing is called media again.

Has this been resolved? I notice on my profiles there are no videos listed when clicking the tab. I downloaded the latest version a week ago for 4.1.

I can upgrade this mod but I have a problem plaese help me

the author is using xenforo, hasn't updated this thread in weeks but still visits vb.org almost everyday. He still hasn't answered a pm I sent him about 2 weeks ago. I'd say he's become a lurker over here and the mod is dead.

Hopefully this mod won't break with vB 4.1.1 or I will have to uninstall :(

Works with 4.1.1 just fine.

I'm not sure if Jaxel will support this mod anymore but I hope there is someone out there that can. The only error I've ever had with this mod is the megavideo thumbs which appear to work fine if adding a video. However if you rebuild the thumbs, they all go black. This is the current code:

I too want to change the name of the tab but i havent figured it ous yet have you ?????

Ok go into the Admin CP>Styles & Templates, then click on "Search in Templates" and look for {vb phrase media}. It's going to find both of these templates:

- 8WR_media_MEMTAB
- 8WR_media_NAVTAB

Now find {vb phrase media} in both tempates and replace it with what you want it to be. For instance:

{vb phrase media} change to "Videos"

IF YOU ARE asking how to do this , basically you right click on the file while in your ftp or whatever over the folder and at the bottom you should see properties/ chmod click on that , and check off all the boxes in there and youll see the numbers change to 777 and hit ok n youre done

you have to chmod those files mentioned if you put everything in its right place and give the files the proper permissions , you should be alright .. no way to screw it up unless you skip something .. well it worked fine for me on VB 4.1 PTACH 2
