How do you add new awards? I've searched through everything and can't find anyhting!

Awards are calculated for ALL points, not only in a specific timeframe.

No, I didn't do anything regarding vbexperience at all. After I detected the problems I reinstalled the project with no effect.
It might derive from installing and afterwrads uninstalling the hack "vbstatus - facebook style" - don't know if there is any known incompatabilities on this one?

Additional: I just found out that shop-settings in "Show items on postbit?" doesn't respond to wether I set it to show 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 items in postbit - it shows 0 or 5!

You will need to rebuild the icons using Manage Shop, Generate icons/name for postbit

One quick question how to i edit and place things in the shop?

INSTALLED and working great with 3.7.3 PL1.

One questions though. I have some custom logic in the postbit_legacy that will display your Real Name instead of your Username, if you so choose (using some custom profile fields). Problem is that awards stop appearing because they are jammed into musername before my template can get to them, so if I elect to display Real Name instead I cannot show awards.

Where can I either put my branching logic in to change musername, or better, how can I add awards to the end of a different variable (in my case, Real Name)?

I guess this is some kind of error on my end. The only options I have for vBex are the ones in Vbulletin Options. The new section for Experience, like in the screenshots, isn't showing up in my Admin panel for some reason. I have everything installed and uploaded properly as well.

I presume you either didn't uploaded all files to their correct folders or didn't refreshed AdminCP after installation.

I refreshed the ACP, but I finally got it to work after logging out and logging back into it.

For the awards, is each award only for the #1 person in a category, or is there a way to give the same award to multiple users? Like say we have an award for making 100 friends. Can multiple users have that award?

One of our user complained that he lots around 25 poinsts today with out any reason.

How did you get the Stats to the right side? It's not intendet, so there is no point you can fix it without recoding the part of vBExperience.

Two questions, has anyone made an add on for geo~logist's Answer Forums Hack to get points for answering questions? (I see the same request already, just my second for it I guess)

Also how hard would it be to incorporate selling things back to the shop (Or even to other users any mark up you want)?. I want to use it in an automotive since, where yo can buy cheap tires, then sell them back at say 75% then upgrade your tires.

Also small glitch. When I disable the hack fully, the awards still show next to the usernames. I have done the re count and everything I can think of.

For instance, I charge $2 a month for a service on my forums... would there be a way to setup the forums so that people can trade 10,000 points for the subscription for a month, instead of having to pay $2?

I found 1 interesting thing though. There are 3 colums that post thanks adds to the user table.
post_thanks_user_amount - the amount of times the user clicks thanks
post_thanks_thanked_posts - the amount of posts that this user was thanked in
post_thanks_thanked_times - the total amount of thanks the user got.

You only use post_thanks_thanked_posts and post_thanks_thanked_times only. It seems that you are using post_thanks_thanked_times instead of post_thanks_user_amount.

Also, I think it would be best if you gave an option for all 3 to be used.

I'm doing the same hack in showthread to get the field17 to show. I'm also getting the sql error now but seems to be because I ignored some groups. Truncate or selectively delete the userid's that are ignored in xperience_stats table and looks to fix it.
I can generate awards and keep my postbit legacy showing awards with names.

The best would be if you would do a custom data provider for vBExperience (ZIP: extras\Custom Data Provider). This way you can do an extended version.

it is definately there but the edits was not entered automatically

It's using the template hook that has been defined in "Displaymode in postbit". Check if it is missing in your template.
