Is this mod compatible with the other major Optomise mod here on vb.org?
Or do they basically do the same thing and i should choose one or the other, but not install both?

It does completely different stuff - you should run both :)

Is this really necessary? Store CSS Stylesheets as Files
I run another program that does not work properly when I store CSS as Files.

For the CSS Optimiser to function, yes. If you want to run vBSC with CSS stored in the database, you will need to disable the following plugins after installing it:

- CSS Auto-Compress
- CSS Auto-Compress Init
- CSS Optimiser

vB4 SuperCharge 1.5 and 1.5.1's HTML Optimiser makes widget config dialog (Genera Search, Recent Articles, Recent Threads,...) crash.

Please check it.

I'm using Firefox and the CMS definitely loads considerably slower :(

got this error while running Compress CSS

When i use compress css
i get the error

Code:
"If you get errors, try running the script again a few times and check your file permissions.
Compress CSS: vbulletin
Writing latest CSS from the database to disk...        Failed!
An error occurred when reading your CSS files.
Please ensure you have CSS set to be stored on the filesystem and try again."
please help me out. Thanks

Did you make sure these two steps were done? (prolly only the first is all you need to check, but might as well check both while you're there :p )
