Add New Replacement Variable

I am going to edit the article postbit more for next version.

Here's a minor little suggestion for the updated postbit. I was using (and in some place I still am) a plugin that lets me change the first post template to a custom one. One of the things I did was I kept the inline editing ability just by copying the edit code from the postbit templates. It's very handy when you have to make little quick edits to your article after you've posted it. It seems like no matter how much I proof read, I never notice all the spelling mistakes until I actually post.

I had to remove ajax quick edit as it over-flowed behind the author details on the right.

I had that problem too. I haven't looked too close at your template code to see if it was the same as mine, but I fixed that by removing the z-index of the author details area. The editing window should drop down below it if you remove that.

Can we have the ability to disable comments for articles?
