Hey, great add on to the forums, just installed it last night, but it seems to have refresh problems. I even set it to refresh every 1 second and it doesn't seem to refresh at all or until you post a message in the chat box. Any idea what is wrong? Thanks.

Follow the instructions in the readme / instance manager and add the code to your navbar template :)

Please do not try to execute that file unless you are running Inferno Tech vBShout v2 and want to import into DragonByte Tech vBShout v6 :)

Please try manually setting your version number in the Product Manager to 6.0.2 then re-import the XML file :)

Any idea how to get [Rainbow]tags to work on the shoutbox? they are working on the bbcodes but not on the shoutbox. I can't get a rainbow either for the usergroup to show on the shoutbox.

Due to an incompatibility with the AME library we were sadly not able to support custom BBCodes like that in the Shoutbox :(

I am unable to load your homepage in order to test this for myself, once logged in the home page instantly reloads and then simply does not load.

But clicking on inbox and sent item the message shows properly. Only I want to fix the sb so that the sent or received message can be accessed by clicking the notification shows on sb.

I am having issues with the formatting of my vBshout. The editing toolbar is all screwed up... Please look at the following images for Firefox (11) and Internet Explorer (9) as that will explain what's going on much better than I can.

If you have the product Private Messages and Email Log installed, this issue can occur. You'll need to ensure that the pmdata_postsave_recipient hook for that product executes after vBShout's hook in the same location by changing its execution data.

That's an issue brought forth by vBulletin 4.1.11.

Please re-download the mod from here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/vbeco...mo&productid=2 and re-upload the files / re-import the XML from that download.

in DragonByte Tech: vBShout (Pro) Version 6.0.4 for my site i can't see umlauts and special characters like äöü i see instead ��

Yes, and in my forum is a problem with characters like ąćęłźżnó etc. Any clue how to fix this?

From what I've been able to tell, this is an issue with the forum language's encoding and the database encoding being different. I've not been able to find a consistent pattern so I can't really be more specific than that.

I know that with the database in latin1_swedish_ci and the forum encoding in iso-8859-1, those characters works perfectly :)

After upgrading to the latest version, my shoutbox is simply hanging at "Loading..." I even created a new instance to replace the old one with the same results. :(

Aha, you may be attempting to access your forum via www. when your forum URL is set up to be non-www or vice versa.

When I looked further, these errors are related to google ads, not to the chat system. I may just try an uninstall-reinstall and see if it fixes itself.
