I used your un-install file.. again, I could haver done it wrong, but i deleted the files.. uploaded it to my root... typed in the address and when i checked the products.. it was gone... so i can only presume that was right

I'm wanting to move the link to a different part of my navbar, but I'm not sure which bit of code I need to move (I can't see anything referring to vBExperience.
Can anyone help and tell me what code I'm looking for please? (I'm looking in the navbar template)

I have installed an uninstalled several times but still dont have any awards....
Whats up with that....?
I had an earlier version working fine, now no awards...

any way for the shop to be more interesting instead of just "buying" all kinds of icons and pictures for your forum points ? Maybe make it possible to do something like the previous cash systesm did ?

For the people having the no awards issues. make sure you ran the recount after installation.

Now on my own personal note, would anyone happen to know how to change the time that it updates the points and activity and such.
Because i left it over night and a full 24 hours, but the count doesn't auto update o.o.

Which is quite a pain.

I'm getting broken images on my Vbadvanced home page.

The images are the award symbols next to the user names. It points to: http://www.website.com/images/misc//...d_activity.gif (note double slash).

If I remove the extra slash, it breaks it in the forums.

help.

EDIT: I see this is a known bug. Disregard.

Installed and very nice.

I am sure you are flat out but I think there are some tweaks you could do that will make this outstanding.

1. Allow some of the information access to be enabled via Usergroup. It would be good for a lot of boards to keep some of this information viewable by specific groups.
2. allow specified usergroups to be excluded from promotions. This will stop custom admins and moderators from being "promoted" into ordinary usergroups
3. Allow certain usergroups to be excluded from awards.
4. Allow Moderation activity to be included in awards.
5. Include thread ratings in awards.

An interesting option would be to look at post count in a specific forum (like the help forum) for the star co-dependents :p

Please add more functionality to the promotion system. Usergroup promotion based on specific requirements:

Promote members that meet the following requirements to usergroup Z
User is in usergroup X
Points for infractions: less than Y
Points for reputation: more than Y
Points for reputation use: more than Y
Points for days online: more than Y
Points for friends: more than Y
Points for social group members: more than Y
Points for visitor messages: more than Y
Points for album pictures: more than Y
Points for referrals: more than Y
Points for threads: more than Y
Points for tags: more than Y
Points for thread votes: more than Y
Points for replies to own threads: more than Y
Points for thread views: more than Y
Points for sticky threads: more than Y

Maybe what you (and others) are looking for is:
Ability to use a combination of requirements for the promotion. Some of the requirements are > some are < and some = to specified variables.

Some of those variables probably should be ones outside xperience - post count, reputation, infractions and length of time registered.

Apologies if this was answered somewhere in the 100 plus pages; I searched and could not find anything on it.

vbExperience installed, work nicely, all is well on the user side. However, I am having issues with the crons. I set all of them so they should run every 10 mins., and according to the scheduled task logs they do not run, as their are no entries for them. Not until I manually use Recount from the CP and then update vbExperience points do the changes get made.

Anyone else run into this or can offer suggestions?

Crons are doing recalc only for users which posted since the last cron time. It's just an updater.

etc.

Is there something like that?

We wanna use vbexperience for a contest. Is there an option to calculate only a specific time period?

the average avtivity bar on my board is around 60% and i have only 4 members with 100% activity

how can i set it that the average activity for users goes around 90%

already it's set to 21 days and i'm using level 5
any idea ?

I wonder if I could trouble someone for a little advice.

Having tested vBexperience on my forum, I'd like to now uninstall it. I've uploaded the kill_experience.php file however I'm unsure how to go about actually executing it.

If someone has removed it previously, would you mind giving me a brief walkthrough?

I did this when 3.7.16 was out and went back to 3.7.14.

AdminCP -> Product Management -> Uninstall vBExperience & vBExperience Level

Next upload the kill_vbexperience.php to the folder it specifies. Type in the full URL (ie, http://yourdomainname.com/forum/kill_vbexperience.php).

DONE~!! :cool:

Suddenly shop items appear vertically in postbit - before they were shown horizontally. Setting is "Postbit_userinfo_left (below rank default). Can't see where to change this to horizontally? See attached screenshot!
