i stated in an earlier post that the red "x"`s dont even exist, and that the filepath is correct, as per instructions...
all files in the UPLOAD folder were upped to the FTP as instructed.....

only thing i can think of, is this hack geared to install to a board where the file structure is www.yoursite.org/forum??

if thats so, it might be the prob, as mine is prefixed not with "forum", but with "board"???

ive eventried changing the image paths, so they have a FULL path, beginning with http://www. - instread of just images/estore

got the attachment purchase thing sorted...i think it was due to me having it enabled, but a value of "0" in the cost...ive changed this now.

now its just the images to get sorted, so i can get this working!!

all i get is...no images, and i keep getting told theres no history or something...lol

It should not have /images in any of the images links, it should have images/estore/blah.png, which makes it use the default folder of where the vB is installed to. Maybe some of the image links need to have "DIR . " infront of them too, I'll look into that. And the Red X should show up in u r using Internet Explorer, if u r using firefox, it wont show up. Check in Internet Explorer and look at the location of the Red X to check it out and I'll look into adding a "DIR" to the images displayed.

EDIT: The more I think about it, DIR will not work as its a full /home/blah path to the file and not the http:// path to the file, I'll have to add the vboption path to the forums maybe, if it is indeed the issue. I've got the forums installed http://www.ps2hits.com/forums/ and it works there, as well as http://forums.cmgsccc.com and it works there too. So I dont know what the issue really is.

ok have installed this and works great EXCEPT.... ive set it so it costs 50 credits to download but it dont work it still lets you download even though you do not have enough cash, and doesnt take any money off you

You are not understanding this, Buy Forum Access does not work for Password Protected Forums. The user has to goto Buy Forum Password to buy a password for a forum.

Did you enable the attachments cost points and are u using the global attachments cost X points?

It doesnt deduct points from viewing your own attachment. Are you viewing your own or someone elses?

Do you have a very old version installed? At some point the images were changed over to PNG inside of the database.

hmmm...for some reason, sigs are not showing in the postbit when I purchase. The option to buy sigs shows in the USERCP, but I go in there and update my sig, and still can't see it in postbit.

Anyone else having this problem?

I dont know how they accomplished it but one way (which I doubt it was cuz its to time consuming) was in opera - open a new tab for each thread view or something like that so they make a thread and do that.

I believe that when you remove gifts it messes up ribbons for you aswell. Not positive but I think you should look into it.

Also, when one of my users visits the store, he can view everything but the options to purchase, he can see his history, richest members, bought items.

Everyone else can see it fine, and with his permission I logged into his account and had the problem. I assume it's a problem with his account?

I just tested this and had no problems with it. The ribbons and gifts use tables independent of each other. Even the info stored in the user table are in seperate columns. What happened when you deleted a gift?

I ran a lottery the other day....a daily lottery....and when I review previous lottery winners it says there are none recorded yet.

I'm sorry.. I am an idiot.. I can NOT get my glow to work.. Right now it is making people's arcade trophy in the post bit glow instead.. Can someone look at this and maybe see if they catch the problem?

May I suggest an attachment feature?

Downloaders pay X points per attachment, AND uploaders only receive one third (or some percentage) of X points per attachment.

Maybe points per attachment depends on file size too. That would be cool ;)

Daily Lottery is set wrong. Its set to be for a week and not a day.

Seem to have a problem with the lottery so I've missed something. It says "You do not have enough points to perform this action."
I've installed this on two boards get exactly the same problem.

Can I make one suggestion. If you update templates could you please add a update.txt in your release out laying what template were updated and what code needs to be replaced or changed from previous installs.

OK I see where people are getting confused.

The items are listed as free, no where does it say that a weekly or daily ticket cost 500 or 1000 points. Only just noticed the ticket price when looking through manage lotterys.
Think this needs to be fixed.
