Was the exploit problem from the beginning or with one of the revisions?

I think we need to be careful when dealing with the coders that are producing items for vb.org and the vbulletin community. I am pretty sure most coders don't intentionally code-in an exploit. They give freely and get little in return. We need to rememebr that.

I don't see how he was "treated rudely by the vb.org staff"... If the hack contains an exploit, it will be removed. That's a normal procedure.

i dont know the details but i appriciate the heads up from vb.org. im sure in this case it was probably a hole that needed to be fixed but its a nice feeling knowing that vb.org is watching out for us too. to bad it wasnt resolved w/o him leaving if thats what happened.

he fixed the exploit and reuploaded the files then withdrawn it again

Only the staff and the author knows what went on. From my understading, it wasn't about the exploit, it was about how it was handled.
