i see this feature in the list "Options in the user profile for the selection of default font, color and size" but odn't actually see these options? can i globally reduce the font size of the chatbox rather than per user?

This would probably be the best chat hack out there IF only it would require so many manual template changes. As such, I'm afraid I will pass.

The chatbox doesn't modify anything in that part and the shout table is not one of the chatbox so I think you posted your problem in the wrong place.

This is what it is about ;)

There is only one template change which is really mandatory (the one for the modifyoptions template) as actually the hooks in the template are not really expanded you know it is difficult to make it automatically.

The other modifications are for the navbar things so you are not obliged to do it !

why there is no chatbox when you klick "advanced reply" ?

and "Editor Position in the Chatbox" BELOW

then its all right, except .... you see the oldest post,
the scrollbar should be down, but its on the top.

The first thing is a known bug I have corrected in the current version in development.

The second thing : it can be found in the cron manager in your admincp.

This is not a bug as It is actually not supposed to show on that page as it's neither the forumdisplay nor the forumhome nor the showthread page ;) Anyway, it'll be possible in the next release.

I don't know vba, maybe by editing the vba navbar template ?
