This has always been bugging me. What does the option "Show prompt message for this usergroup" do?

It turns off the little prompt message in the chatbox where you type in your messages. The message can be changed by clicking on "Chats Formatting" and then scroll to the bottom where it says "Message to display in the input field on page load". So basically "Show prompt message for this usergroup" turns that message on or off.

Well - wanted to switch anyways to a really free shoutbox without any branding at all - maybe it's time now :)

The only reasons why username wouldn't not show is :
- You have not run the last step of the upgrade (script launch)
- You have a modified chatbox template and you didn't revert it
