thanks. any help? |
I have searched the forum but have not found the answer. Do you have a version of vBookie compatibile with vB 3.6.8?
Thank you, Ron |
I'm getting this error when I post a new topic and try to make it an event:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /home/tealandb/public_html/forums/newthread.php(244) : eval()'d code on line 5 It just posts the topic too, nothing to make an event. |

It also works just fine in 3.7 (tested with Beta 2, 3 and 4) |
Is anybody that is using vbookie with 3.6.x or 3.7 beta having an issue with the forum basically stalling at times, as in will take 2-3 minutes to load a page? I have this happening to me on one forum which happens to use vbookie.

Thanks, Bobster65. This issue has been haunting me for months now, and it was really depressing me to realize that it appeared to be related to vbookie, as it is a very, very popular piece to my forum.

Can you paste the code to remove here? I'd appreciate it, thanks! |

What this does is prevent members from selecting the SETTLED vbookie items from the drop down so that the system does not lock up. Since doing this, I've not had any site performance issues related to vbookie. Code:
<!-- vbookie welcome --> Code:
<option value="SETTLED">$vbphrase[event_settled]</option> |
thank you very much :)
|
Does anyone know how to make "Allow Multiple Bets" to default to "No" or completely remove it? Thanks.
|
I recently upgraded to vBulletin 3.7 - as well as upgrading to a 3.7 style template.
Now there is no option to post a vBookie event with a thread on the new template, could anyone tell me how to make this possible please? Thanks for any help in advance! :) |

We cant get our vbookie to work at all. There is no way to post anything nor is there a way to make it work at all. Anyone have a clue on what we can do?

Did you apply the patch that Paul M provided? Did you rebuild your bit fields so that user group permissions can be set? Yer kinda being vague here and its not easy to help that way.. |
Installed.

Is there a way i can allocate newly registered users vcash?
I run vbookie competition over say 10 months, at the start everyone gets ?500, then as new members join i manually adjust it. i.e january everyone gets ?500 new members joining in Feb get ?450, March ?400 etc etc Its very tedious searching through all new members and manually adjusting their cash, i would like to set it automatically monthly to allocate new members that months cash amount without affecting the existing members cash amounts - hope this makes sense? Is this possible? Any advice would be welcomed Cheers |
what needs to be edited so that people don't get maxed out on how much money they can win?
|
Has anyone made this work with the vBcredit system?
|
Just installed on 3.6.8 and works well with the latest v2.0.7 vbBux

EDIT - Solved the problem. I had upploaded both folders, but not the individual vBookie.php file. A very stupid mistake, but hey, everything works fine now!
Remember: ALWAYS CHECK YOU UPLOADED EVERYTHING! :) |
I would like to first off apologize for bugging you all but I was wondering whether anyone would be kind enough to help me install this mod on my forums?
I have done all the template edits, uploaded everything done almost everything it says in this thread, disabled product/plugins enabled them, everything and still it is not showing up giving me the opportunity to create a bet/event. I am after someone to help go over the code and hopefully get it fixed so it works perfectly. Please PM Me if you can help - I already appreciate you taking the time to look at this post and will appreciate the time you give to help me fix it |
I forgot to add for anyone who wanted to help.
I have done all the fixes it says on here - I am using Version 3.6.8 - I downloaded this mod tonight so hopefully its the latest one. I would be happy to take everything off so you can install it fresh if you like. Please anyone who is able to help please do so. |
Did you apply Paul M's fix for vB 3.6? If not, look at the first post, there's a link to it.
|
a glitch?
I noticed a user had an anon bet, but won big time... this is what's displayed in de vBookie stats now: Quote:
