I believe by default you will not see the Thanks/Like Bar on your own post until others Thanks/Like the post.

Do you wish to Thank and Like your own post?

I going to guess :) The files are not in the correct area and / or it's server issue.
I will lean towards server issue and that error does not seem to have anything to do with this mod. Check with your Host. :)

When i have installed the mod , I hving problem with replying to threads .

buttons dont show if members use hybrid or threaded display modes

That is correct, only Linear mode is supported at this time :)

I have actually never come across a forum that uses hybrid or threaded mode before, which is why support for it was never included :)

my forum does, and previous versions of the mod worked in hybrid and threaded

how can I go back to 2.02, upload files and overwrite??

This mod has never claimed to support those modes, any support would have been purely accidental. Sorry :(

lol, but it did work fine with version 2.02 which have just upgraded from. is it possible to go back. I have files from the customer area

where is the like button suppose to show up? Not finding anywhere on my posts. I have the Post Thanks / Likes under my avatar with breakdown but no actual like button....?

Have you enabled the "Can Click" permission for each button under DBTech - Post Thanks -> Manage Buttons ?

If you cannot see that menu, please enable Super Administrator permissions for your account via config.php :)

How do I rename the Buttons?

From my experience, you just upload old files, import old version and that's it. But, there could be problems with DB structure, if it is changed. This is a question I couldn't answer.

In past I successfully downgraded APTL, after I saw some things that I didn't liked, but now I don't remember which version were in question.

Best course of action would be to make backup of files and DB, then try to downgrade, check if everything works, if not, restore, if works, great. :up:

Is it supposed to send an email to the OP when somebody clicks thanks? As the webmaster I clicked all 3 on a post I made with a sub-account and no notifications were sent.

I want to purchase the pro version but I never get a confirmation email to register an account!

What can I do?

sorted. I used the Facebook connect to get in and order and had to use the send email to confirmation@ to authorise the product.
I still haven't received an email so I am worried about security alerts.

You need to add to your Safe Senders list to ensure you get our mails :)

Sure, anybody knows how can i do it? But only in one category. Click "like" in your own thread or post, but in only one category i created.

Is it possible to move the "Thanks" button next to the other buttons at the bottom of a post (see screenshot). I notice with the default setup, it can get confusing which post is being thanks since it sits directly on top of one and directly below another.

You confused thread. On image you show it's Abe's mod, not DBTech's. :)

I'm using vB 4.2 p3, everything seem ok during installation. After setting up all necessary buttons. When I click on the button, there is nothing happen. Any idea about this problem ??

I just installed this (3.8.7) and it seems to work for most people but some users say they don't see anything. I've checked the settings - manage buttons - and all the correct usergroups have permission, so I can't figure out why certain people can't see them. Could there be some other setting I'm missing or are there any virus protection or ad blocker things that could interfere?

This is most likely due to an incomplete upload. Please drag and drop the contents of the upload folder to your forum folder.

Are there any patterns to who can't see them?

Thanks for the response. We figured out the problem. It was all due to hybrid mode. The mod isn't visible in hybrid, and I just didn't realize that or I would have thought to ask them. Mystery solved.

I don't see that in the listed info here, so you might want to make note of it. Many of my members prefer hybrid mode, but they can easily switch back and forth to "like" or "thank" posts.

Our forum consists of closing threads every once in a while. However, normal users still want to 'like' posts but it seems upon closure of threads, you cannot.

How could we get round this so users still can upon closed threads?

There's nothing in this mod preventing it from working in closed threads, you may have a mod conflict. You may want to try disabling all other products.

That will get solved on a page reload, it's just a slight visual issue with the skin :)

This is a Pro only feature :)
