As this hack does not cost a cent and also the support eats very much time this is something I can demand on it: Support me by clicking Mark as Installed. I hope that many more people understand this.

By doing a search for vBExperience on Google I can find many more sites than the installationcount tells me here on vBulletin.org. Really a pity.

favicon.cc is a fantastic website to make 16x16px. You can import an image (moving also) and it will shrink it down to 16x16. You can also edit the pixels and make it look how you want it to look. I made just about all of my icons with it: http://askthefurryone.com/forums/sho...=7359#post7359

The shop is a simply awe inspiring feature, being able to define not only how much an item will cost but where the funds will come from is brilliant. I didn't quite understand why you had opted for such complexity at first but now I see it, what a brilliant idea.

I wonder if you would help me please, I am noticing that the categories I have set up for the shop are not showing their descriptions in the shop categories listings.
I've probably just missed something really silly but can't find anything I've missed, can you advise me on what I do to make the categories description show up please. :)

I hope you don't mind me answering some questions. I just love this mod and want to help you out a bit Phalynx.
You can edit a lot of settings, I suggest you explore (and test) all you can do. Go to your Admin CP and click vBExperience on the left hand side. That is where you edit everything.

1. Click vBExperience in your Admin CP and then click "Settings: Bars" to edit where it shows up in postbit or even disable it.

2. Sorry I don't know.

3. Click vBExperience in your Admin CP and then click "Recount".



I think the category description is just for your personal use. They don't show up on mine either.

I would like to just disable certain users from showing up on the vbexpereince.php page..

Got a little piece of code where I can do this? :)

I dont want to disable them completely. Would still like it to show up on their profile page and postbit.

I have category descriptions which make the category titles come to make sense, without them the category titles are not entirely descriptive enough. Your help is greatly appreciated.

whats the point of buying items, they dont do anything like giving you privileges, or am i misunderstanding something?

My awards don't show up in postbit legacy. I can't seem to find were the awards are referenced in the template. It looks like somehow it's pulling from the musername ?

I don't show the username I use field17 which is a full name field. I'd like to show the awards right after this custom field.

Installed.. then removed ( decided i did not like it for my particular site ).. loads of database errors once uninstalled.. maybe i did something wrong but it cost me £30.00 to restore back to last night

They are pretty much just for show unless you find something useful for them.

For example, on my site people can buy:
Flags - To represent where they live
Game Icons - To show what games they play
Video Game Characters and Guns - Just for fun

I also allow them to buy a "bonus video" that goes along with my video show.

You simply didn't uninstall the product self. That is a common failure by uninstalling the PHP files leaving the hooks in the DB.
