I've come to the conclusion that most of the hacks on here are either unneccessary or completely buggy anyway. I mean, what is the point of hacks like the World Maps one? Pretty, but completely useless.

People go overboard in modding their forums. Not only does it make it a pain to update, but it also increases the risk of having a hacked site. Just not worth it if you ask me. My advice: run a standard vbulletin. The upcoming version 3.6 looks absolutely awesome and will break many of the mods on here anyway, due to the changes to the phrase system.

Goodbye V3arcade...it was almost nice knowing you.

Games that are .tar are IBPro games

I just uploaded it to VB 3.5.4, works fine apart from tetris, I can get to the loading page of tetris but all I get it the message loading and it never gets any further.

I have tried uploading the swf file again, any suggestions?

It works if you have Arcade installed previous to 3.6.0 upgrade. It does not work if you try and install it after you have converted to 3.6.0

I had to un-install Mahjong Solitaire and Black Jack because both had scoring issues.

Mahjong Solitaire would flash the "submit score" button so quickly not giving the user a chance to submit their score.

And Black Jack would double the users score everythime they wanted to double their bet.

Anyone have Fixed Versions of these games?

I'm stILL trying to get some games installed beside the default ones that came with it.
It doesn't seem to work..even with the arcade games I have and the installation instructions.. :(

Trinigamers - just put all the install files into the admincp games folder and install using the admincp arcade section - that should install a game for you.

JD - i have 400+ games on my site for this arcade - what kind of games are you looking for ? - Im not sure if we are allowed to post games , but i may be able to give u instructions on where to get some.

also , if anyone wants the NEWS AND EVENTS to be linkable to the game when someone beats the high score , i have added how to do this here : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=118298

Read back a few pages, Ive linked some off my own site that I know works, and I believe others have posted links to other sites where you can download games.

Look for my link of files called "IBPro-work-with-v3.rar" has a Sudoku that works with v3 (game is for IBPro though). I don't play it, but folks in my forums do.

Sure, but i think you can do it yourself, it is so simple.

Just do exactly as the instructions say....

All you have to do is copy and paste the code into the relevant template sections. . . and then upload a .xml file.

It helps if you start out doing these small tasks, because that is the only way you will get accustomed to working with VBulletin. You will get familiar to everything in it only by working with it. :)

I tried it lastnight, And almost got it. But When I clicked on the arcade button on the nav bar I got that I did have permission to accress.?

You need to go to user groups and change the settings to allow anyone to use the Arcade ;)

That didn't work: I am getting this error:

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't know what I did. I can't even uninstall this... Man I knew I would screw it up...

Other errors:

When I click on Categories or Games I get this error:

MySQL Error : Table 'extreme2_vb.arcade_categories' doesn't exist

MySQL Error : Table 'extreme2_vb.arcade_games' doesn't exist

When I try to uninstall to start all over I can

Make sure you have fully uploaded all the files to your server also double check that they are all in the correct places.

After you have done that check your options in usergroups (See ScreenShot) ;)

Ok I tried that something crazy is happening with this arcade.

Nathan, Can I ask you to take a look at it for me.. I mean I will do it. Just look and see what I did wrong? I will give you access.
