Could someone please tell me the function of static or raising Jackpot, I don't get it.

I have set a raised jackpot of 100 points, but who wins it? And should a raised jackpot not, well, raise?

Jackpots are given to the person who gains the highest score in a game,if they are rising jackpots the 'game fee' will be added to the jackpot (I assume) and the jackpot will amass until a highscore is recorded - atleast that's how I understand it to be.

Static will jus give the same jackpot every time

However,this does not seem to be functioning properly yet - maybe a post in the vBPlaza support forum would be a better place for this query :)

Hopefully we can guide Mrzero to move the templates to more managable vbulletin style ones as frankly the system currently is a nightmare to navigate and develop new template styles for.

I really do believe this arcade to be awesome but its the template system many are having issues with. If we can help address that, i truly think this would be the number 1 arcade for vbulletin ...

Does anyone know how to add a new game?

go to your admincp and look for the arcade tab

open it up you will see main settings games list etc there will be an add games there...if you uploaded your games correctly *.tar to tar folder and *.zip to zip folder it should show you games if you scroll down....then just click install or at the bottom install all games

lol i had to use winace to unzip and then to repackage as a tar....you have to have v3arcade to get it to work i do believe and i wasn't too interested in that....so i just repackaged them as tar and everything went smoothly....occasionally i come across one that doesn't work but for the most part i have 1500+ games installed 1/3 were zip files....

you have to go to your usergroups and mess around with their permissions "can play for free" no if you want them to have to use their vbbux to play....make subscriptions and make it so they have to buy the subscription with real cash in order to have access....its all permission based basically.

if you want i can get you full directions just have to take a look....

right now i have subscriptions set up but not required in order to play....my games cost my members 5 vbbux to play....i figure when i get big enough ( lots of members lol) i will upgrade my current members to a new group with access free no payments and new members will have to pay in a new group....does it make sense?

This is absolutely a great hack!!

But after upgrading from 2.5.4+ name and score of the "leader of the leaderboard" is missing.

Anyone else have the same problem?

First, it is ILLEGAL to charge for access to these games. The game designers have always frowned upon people who charge, as the arcade owners do not pay for the games, and the games do not get as much exposure.

Secondly, 90% of the games installed on these arcades are ILLEGAL. This is because the flash code has been modified to allow for high scores, tournaments, etc.

If you want to run a LEGAL arcade, go and buy GameSiteScript or PHPArcadeScript.

Get this error after playing a tournament.

Hey, i saw a site and it had oer 900 games, where can i download them all

When someone has started a Tournament and set a price, this price is then set after the amount the next Tournament cost.

After the start of 5 Tournaments, the price has gone from 50 points to 5015002100150.

The last Tournament still only cost 50 and only 50 points are charged.

I just upgraded and get the following errors

i think i found a bug :cross-eyed:

i open 2 window. and start 2 game same time i play one of two games (A and B), i scored 1300 in game "A" and make mistake. and then game "B" i mistake quickly and close window quickly(alt+f4). it happened in 2 or 3 seconds. finally 1300 point given game "B"
