Had a question, found the answer :) great post organization
|
how to I add to forum? as thumbs>?
|
I recently had this installed & love it, very user/admin friendly. My webmistress installed a gallery button on my upper navbar, sometimes when I try to enter the gallery here, it sends me to the vB log in page. I apologise if this has been addressed before, but I did not see it in the posts. Thanks in advance, JPT.
UPDATE: After reading again, I found this post "All usergroups (even the admin group) begins with all photoplog permissions turned off. Go and edit it so you can access it" I have the setting correct as far as I can tell, the log in issue is not all the time, JPT. |
After upgrading from 2.0.5. to 2.0.7 i get the following error
Code:
Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /usr/www/www.glcoti.com/public_html/photoplog/settings.php on line 94 The "missing" files it mentions are exactly where they should be... WHats wrong? |
nvm... i was dumb... i overwrote the config.php file during upgrading..
it r fixed now |
Hi, just wondering how individuals can setup categories in this? I need to use it only for photos of site meetings and different members may need to start the individial categories for their photo's. So far it looks as though I have to do this for each time.

Hi, this is a great mod. I came on here to ask the same question as bunglehaze above. Is there a way of changing it so users can set up categories? or how is everyone else managing it, i was thinking about having a folder saying 'upload your pics here if they don't fit a category', then sorting them later and creating a category for them. How is everyone else doing it, at the moment I don't think users know they can upload pictures.
Any suggestions welcome, Jon :erm: |

What's new in the latest version?
|
photoplog/functions.php - before this version
Code:
$photoplog_parser = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list()); Code:
$photoplog_parser = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list()); |
I added the $photoplog_forumhome to the ForumHome template and have started uploading images, but I'm noticing that only one or two thumbnails are being shown.
how do I increase the number of Thumbnails that show? |
Hi Jim, have you gone to the photoplog menu and moderated the files, you need to click them as being ok before they show up

Iam having a few issues, installed on 3.7.1 and have them showing on forumhome, but its hit and miss if it shows on the homepage and when it does the random image is nearly always the same image and it only show 1 picture when i have a few uploaded.
Is there a way to set how many images show and if they are random or lastest uploaded or is this the pro version |

I was wondering if there was a way to change the count from 5 currently to a lesser number?
|
Hi,
Is it possible to rebuild thumbnails after change the width/height? Can I disable the creation of the Medium thumbnails? Thanks |
I would like to have a lite version that does watermarking on the fly it is a small feature but it is a deal breaker i can deal without having a gallery and use the vb albums for galleries with a watermark mod on this site
|

Do you have your absolute forum path entered correctly in the config file?
Just for example here is how mine is entered on my local test server. PHP Code:
|
ready insatlled but i get white page when i give the url: http://www.fhs6u8sl9.greekdaddy.com/photoplog/
i have try many times with diferent directory path but i cant set correctly. my home drictory is: /home2/******/ and vb files are inside to folder named: "kjdkajs" (and the photoplog files are in this folder) but the domain works directly http://www.fhs6u8sl9.greekdaddy.com how can i set the directory path? |
go into your admin cp and down the bottom "view php info"
youl find it there should be something like /home/blablabla/public_html/forum dont forget the forward slash |
ok thanks its work
|
its working to my vb for experiments but in my master and same version vbulletin board (my master VB) dont works
the root of my master server its this: /home2/******/public_html i write this in config.php but i get error and login out automatic when give to browser the url: www.greekdaddy.com/photoplog |

Alright, thanks. Now, when I go there and try to go back to my home page, it doesn't allow me. I get this message: "Not Found The requested URL /photoplog/forums.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." Any help? Please. |
Looks like you might have your photoplog folder in the wrong directory. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be in the /forum directory, it should be in the root. Of course it depends how you originally set up your forum directory.
