It works perfectly. If you look closely at the problems in this thread, all of them are user related errors; steps skipped during installation, a conflicting mod, incorrect settings, etc.

Any one knows which code to use to display / fetch thumbnails of Photo Plog on the site or portal.

Had a question, found the answer :) great post organization

The Gift 06-03-2008 07:01 AM

how to I add to forum? as thumbs>?

Guy Betten 06-03-2008 06:26 PM

I recently had this installed & love it, very user/admin friendly. My webmistress installed a gallery button on my upper navbar, sometimes when I try to enter the gallery here, it sends me to the vB log in page. I apologise if this has been addressed before, but I did not see it in the posts. Thanks in advance, JPT.

UPDATE: After reading again, I found this post "All usergroups (even the admin group) begins with all photoplog permissions turned off. Go and edit it so you can access it" I have the setting correct as far as I can tell, the log in issue is not all the time, JPT.

GuaRRand 06-06-2008 01:00 PM

After upgrading from 2.0.5. to 2.0.7 i get the following error

Code:

Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /usr/www/www.glcoti.com/public_html/photoplog/settings.php on line 94

Warning: require_once(./global.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/www.glcoti.com/public_html/photoplog/settings.php on line 95

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:') in /usr/www/www.glcoti.com/public_html/photoplog/settings.php on line 95

I followed the UPGRADE instructions to the letter...
The "missing" files it mentions are exactly where they should be...
WHats wrong?

GuaRRand 06-06-2008 01:36 PM

nvm... i was dumb... i overwrote the config.php file during upgrading..

it r fixed now

bunglehaze 06-08-2008 10:12 PM

Hi, just wondering how individuals can setup categories in this? I need to use it only for photos of site meetings and different members may need to start the individial categories for their photo's. So far it looks as though I have to do this for each time.

cheers

Jon4444 06-13-2008 05:28 AM

Hi, this is a great mod. :up: I came on here to ask the same question as bunglehaze above. Is there a way of changing it so users can set up categories? or how is everyone else managing it, i was thinking about having a folder saying 'upload your pics here if they don't fit a category', then sorting them later and creating a category for them. How is everyone else doing it, at the moment I don't think users know they can upload pictures.

Any suggestions welcome,

Jon

What's new in the latest version?

butch3r 06-14-2008 01:04 PM

photoplog/functions.php - before this version
Code:

                $photoplog_parser = new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list());
                $text = $photoplog_parser->do_parse($text, $do_html, $do_smilies, $do_bbcode, $do_imgcode, true, false);
        }

jim6763nva 06-15-2008 02:56 AM

I added the $photoplog_forumhome to the ForumHome template and have started uploading images, but I'm noticing that only one or two thumbnails are being shown.

how do I increase the number of Thumbnails that show?

Jon4444 06-15-2008 10:03 AM

Hi Jim, have you gone to the photoplog menu and moderated the files, you need to click them as being ok before they show up

Iam having a few issues, installed on 3.7.1 and have them showing on forumhome, but its hit and miss if it shows on the homepage and when it does the random image is nearly always the same image and it only show 1 picture when i have a few uploaded.

Is there a way to set how many images show and if they are random or lastest uploaded or is this the pro version

mauybe cause of this -> /hsphere/local/home//forum/photoplog/settings.php (two slashes between home and forum), check path in config.php

butch3r 06-18-2008 12:53 PM

I was wondering if there was a way to change the count from 5 currently to a lesser number?

nfn 06-26-2008 09:58 AM

Hi,

Is it possible to rebuild thumbnails after change the width/height?
Can I disable the creation of the Medium thumbnails?

Thanks

tuaguild 06-27-2008 01:35 AM

I would like to have a lite version that does watermarking on the fly it is a small feature but it is a deal breaker i can deal without having a gallery and use the vb albums for galleries with a watermark mod on this site

Just for example here is how mine is entered on my local test server.

Alright, thanks.

Now, when I go there and try to go back to my home page, it doesn't allow me. I get this message:

"Not Found

The requested URL /photoplog/forums.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Any help? Please.

Trip 06-27-2008 08:18 PM

Looks like you might have your photoplog folder in the wrong directory. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be in the /forum directory, it should be in the root. Of course it depends how you originally set up your forum directory.
