Vbulletin 3.5.1

I give this mod a thumbs up!

I installed this mod and have it working. Don't try to use google news rss feeds. They all kinds of formatting in the description. Went with yahoo.

I am seeing a few glitches. Random characters are appearing in the message body.
Example - http://www.snocrazy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=495
It might just be the feed from yahoo. I am also seeing off topic articles from them.

Here is a sample of google news rss feed. Let me know if you find a way to make it work.

It is replacing the character “ with “

Any ideas? Is this a Vbulletin thing?

e.g.) Suppose I create a thread id 100, and the script adds just the title and link from the RSS feed to this thread. After a month (or day, or week), I (or the script) can start a new thread for that month, and adds the new data into that single thread..

I think it can be done with a little bit of tweaking to this script.. Each feed seems to have too little information to warrant a new thread, but I like the idea of having just the title of the news in a thread.

Anyone who can help me on how to do this?

yeah that would be so so great :)
can anybody help us with that?

I can't figured out where to upload the files too. Also, it keeps kicking me out of the Admin CP ever since I created the task. Any ideas on both questions? Thanks.

I got the install fixed but I'm still suffering login problems after this install. It seems to kick everyone out randomly and require login.

I have a forum that deals with missing people that 3 ladies run that have gotten actual laws passed in their states regarding missing people.

You don't even know how much easier it has made these ladies jobs that works tirelessly for a non profit org to get amber alert rss feeds .

Thank You very much for this

Love this mod, execpt for some duplicate posts and wish it didn't show up on the 'New Posts' section. You can prune the forum that you have these posts go in to which isn't a big deal, but all in all an excellent extension.
